Choosing the right reading light

There are a few things to consider when choosing the right reading light. First, consider the function of the light. Do you want a reading light with a long flexible arm or would you prefer a mounted light fixed into position that will give your room a dreamy glow? 

Next, consider the colour temperature of the light. For a warmer light, you want something with a kelvin rating between 2700k and 3000k and for a cooler tone, go for something between 3700k and 5000k. Pick a light that will complement the other lights in the room and create the atmosphere you're looking for.
