Nothing in this clause limits or excludes the Buyer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law in respect of goods that are faulty, not as described, or fail to be of acceptable quality.

What’s not considered a fault?

Every About Space product is carefully made, and many of our finishes use natural or handcrafted materials. This means no two pieces are exactly the same and that’s part of their beauty.

It’s normal to see:

  • •  subtle variations in colour, grain, veining, or marbling
  • •  small differences in texture or patina over time
  • •  minor size or finish variations compared to product photos or display models

These variations are not defects. They don’t affect the quality, safety, or function of your product, they’re what make each piece unique.

If you’d prefer not to keep your item for these reasons, it will be treated as a change-of-mind return and managed under our Returns Policy (typically via credit note).

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we’ll always make it right.

9.6 BALANCE OF WARRANTY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • •  Where goods are repaired or replaced with refurbished goods, the warranty will continue only for the balance of the original warranty period calculated from the date of collection or delivery of the original goods; and
  • •  Where goods are replaced with new goods, a new warranty period will apply from the date of collection or delivery of the replacement goods.

This clause does not limit the Buyer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply independently of any voluntary warranty offered by About Space.

About Space is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for its team and customers. Aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour (whether in person, by phone, email, or online) will not be tolerated.
