Recognised as a 2025 Best Law Firm by Best Lawyers, with top-tier rankings across multiple legal disciplines, Talbot Sayer’s commitment to excellence is now matched by a workspace that speaks to their prestige, values, and future-focused approach. 

A View-Driven Vision 

Perched in the heart of Brisbane, the office boasts sweeping views of the Brisbane River, the Story Bridge, and the heritage-listed Customs House. These panoramic sights became a central design feature. By carefully framing the windows, Bearspace transformed the vistas into ever-changing landscape artworks—bringing the outside in and grounding the interiors in place and perspective. 

Hospitality-Inspired Functionality
 

With Bearspace’s background in luxury hospitality, the public areas of the office were crafted to feel warm, welcoming, and intuitively functional. The front-of-house experience is anchored by a bespoke bar, setting a refined tone for client engagements while doubling as a communal hub for staff. This flows effortlessly into an open breakout area designed for collaboration, conversation, and informal moments of pause. 

Materiality and Lighting 

Premium materials were layered throughout, creating a tactile and timeless aesthetic that aligns with Talbot Sayer’s reputation for depth and precision. Lighting played a key role in amplifying this mood. Feature pieces from About Space, including the Trinity pendant, Cambio shades on Accord wall lights, and the sculptural Skyball Verti Duo, were selected to add sculptural form, ambience, and clarity across the space. These choices celebrate contrast- between shadow and light, soft curves and sharp lines, hospitality and professionalism.
