The purpose of lighting design is to enhance the visual environment, highlight architectural features, create ambiance, and provide appropriate levels of illumination for tasks or activities.

Here are some key steps our lighting design team processed for a successful outcome:

Established project requirements: Determine the purpose of the lighting system and the requirements for the space, including the type of activities to be performed, the desired ambiance.

Evaluated the space: Evaluate the space to determine the lighting requirements, taking into account factors such as room size, ceiling height, surface finishes, and natural lighting conditions.

Developed a lighting plan: Develop a lighting plan that outlines the placement and type of light fixtures, the control system, and the electrical infrastructure required.

Selected light fixtures: Select light fixtures that meet the design requirements, taking into account factors such as energy efficiency, colour temperature, colour rendering index (CRI), and the intended use of the space.

Coordinated with other design disciplines: Coordinate with other design disciplines, such as architecture, interior design, and electrical engineering, to ensure that the lighting design is integrated with the overall project design.
