The Kermandie

At About Space, we take great pride in our original designs including the extravagant Caroline pendant. With its resemblance to a blooming flower accompanied by a textured finish, and gentle curves, the Caroline has the power to transform any space into a captivating environment. We utilised the Caroline in a recent project, The Kermandie Hotel, showcasing the importance of layering and dimensionality in lighting design.

The Caroline light is a unique creation that combines organic beauty with a touch of modern sophistication. With its delicate form and soft texture, it adds a graceful presence to any space. Its design is available in two versions: the single and double Caroline, each offering a distinctive aesthetic and lighting effect.

Layering and Dimensionality in Lighting Design:

In the lighting design of the restaurant, we embraced the concept of layering and dimensionality by incorporating both the single and double Caroline lights. By strategically placing these fixtures throughout the space, we achieved a multi-dimensional effect that enhanced the overall ambiance.

The layering of the Caroline lights created a visually captivating environment within the restaurant. The gentle curves and blooming-like appearance of each fixture added an element of elegance and grace, inviting guests to indulge in an intimate dining experience. The play of light and shadow created by the layered designs added depth and dimension, making the space feel welcoming and engaging.
