A floral vision, re-imagined

Designed by Marc Sadler for SLAMP, Poppy takes inspiration from blossoms in bloom—each ‘flower’ element crafted with precision, lightness and personality. The result is a lighting installation that feels alive, delicate yet bold, and wholly unique.

Each bloom is produced from SLAMP’s signature technopolymer (Lentiflex®), shaped via the brand’s patented “Tecnoformatura” process in their Italian atelier. The stems? Red-painted brass, giving an instant pop of colour against the translucent petals. Moreover, one in every seven flowers is air-brushed by hand in red, meaning every Poppy fixture is essentially one-of-a-kind.

• Available in clusters of 7 or 14 elements, offering flexibility depending on scale. 
• Each bloom is connected via thin silver-plated copper wires that carry low-voltage electricity—these wires become a visual detail themselves, lending a subtle floating effect. 
• For example, the 14-light version: 14 × LED/3.2W, delivering approximately 6,300 lumens at 3,000 K in some configurations. 
• Material construction: brass, copper, Lentiflex technopolymer. 
• Dimming options, ceiling rose/installation flexibility, adjustable cables to suit different ceilings and spatial configurations.

• Ceiling drop: Choose a generous drop to accentuate the floating nature of the clusters—especially effective over a dining table or entry void.
• Colour temperature: We recommend 2,700–3,000 K for warm, inviting light that complements hospitality/residential interiors—compatible with the Poppy’s LED specs.
