We recently had the privilege of crafting a lighting plan for Feel Good Hood, and their brand new facility wholly dedicated to wellness and tranquility.

Understanding the Project

The Feel Good Hood is not your ordinary wellness hub; it's a space where health, peace, and tranquility converge. We were tasked with designing the lighting plan for the entire building, which included the Reception area, hallways, Gym, Fitness Studios, event rooms, Cold Water Therapy room, Sauna, and Change rooms. The challenge was to create lighting solutions that seamlessly integrated with the client's vision while enhancing the functionality and ambiance of each space.

Guiding Creative Choices

Our client had a clear vision in mind—black with a modern twist. They wanted a design that exuded simplicity and sophistication while providing an environment that nurtured better health and well-being. To align with this vision, we guided them in selecting lighting solutions that not only complemented the overall aesthetic but also promoted a sense of tranquility and serenity.

Throughout a number of the spaces, we used our wall lights from our originals collection, the Vili and Vili Rec. These pieces, while being in the requested black finish, feature a subtle ribbed texture that softens and soothes. Both wall lights are beautiful example of sleek and modern lighting solutions that ooze sophistication and flair. 

The Impact of Our Lighting Solutions

In a wellness-centric space like the Feel Good Hood, lighting is paramount. Our strategic use of lighting played a pivotal role in transforming each area into an oasis of well-being. The Reception area welcomed guests with a warm and inviting ambiance, while the hallways featured discreet yet functional lighting for ease of navigation.

For the fitness spaces, we incorporated RGB track lights and unique features that not only illuminated the areas for activities but also set the mood for a dynamic workout experience. The event rooms were designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for various lighting settings to cater to different gatherings and events.

The Cold Water Therapy room and Sauna were transformed into serene sanctuaries, with lighting that encouraged relaxation and rejuvenation. Finally, the Change rooms were equipped with practical yet stylish lighting solutions, ensuring that every aspect of the wellness journey was met with comfort and elegance.

Our choice of lighting products seamlessly aligned with the client's brand and mission. With an inspiration rooted in black finishes and a modern feel, we crafted lighting solutions that not only met aesthetic expectations but also contributed to the overall well-being of the space's users.
